Sell a business

Sell your business. On a considered basis.

A company sale involves more than finding an interested party. We help owners prepare, identify credible buyers and navigate the commercial and practical decisions ahead.

Prepare before approaching the market

Establish objectives, review the business information, identify key value drivers and agree how prospective buyers will be approached.

A selective buyer process

Build a relevant buyer shortlist and agree it with the seller. Use non-identifying initial information, confidentiality arrangements and staged disclosure appropriate to the mandate.

Compare the whole offer

Assess price alongside funding, conditions, timing, deferred consideration and the seller’s continuing involvement. Coordinate due diligence and legal work through completion.

Questions, considered.

Will my company be advertised publicly?

Our default approach is off-market. Any wider disclosure is discussed and agreed with the seller rather than assumed.

Does off-market mean approaching only one buyer?

No. A discreet process can involve several selected buyers without a public listing.

What makes a buyer qualified?

Qualification considers the buyer’s criteria, decision-making capacity, strategic fit and proposed funding approach. The review is proportionate to the transaction; it does not guarantee funding or completion.

Can I speak with you before deciding to sell?

Yes. An initial discussion can focus on readiness, timing and the alternatives available.

Does submitting a form appoint Nobelton?

No. An engagement requires the relevant checks and agreed written terms.

An important decision starts with the right conversation.

Whether a transaction is near or still some way ahead, start with a private discussion of your priorities.
